Dear Samson,
I am delighted to invite Qubes to launch its Gagapost product at DEMO 09. Congratulations!
Now in its 19th year, DEMO remains the premier launch pad for new information technology products, presenting carefully vetted, market-changing products to an audience of media, investors, early adopters, and market thought leaders.
Avaak Inc. launched an impressive product called Vue which is a network of small, battery powered cameras without the hassle of wires. Vue works through a base station that can be configured easily through LAN.
Liquid Media launched a new B2C platform called Loyal2Me(L2M), which is targetted at the consumer-side rather than the business-side. The program allows consumers to subscribe offers from businesses they like rather than receiving annoying trash e-mails and messages. Consumers can control when and how frequent they receive push-contents from the providers. It looks like a very interesting business model.
The demonstrator from Home-Account started off with a hearty joke about the subprime mortgage crisis and how the existing mortgage process is broken. Home-Account is an intelligent, Web-based mortgage buying subscription service which will help America’s 75 million homeowners take control of their largestassets and use them to insure their financial security. The website charges $9.95 per month and each customer will receive a personalized plan to improve their financial status.

Zuora provides an application for the Facebook Platform. It is aimed at providing Facebook application developers to better monetize their applications and business models.
Nice to see a big name at the Demo. Sheryl explained that Qualcomm is not only into high-end communication chipsets but also trying to develop next-generation display technology. Qualcomm’s MEMS branch has invented the mirasol display technology which uses less energy than traditional LCD/LED displays. The mirasol display also offers high reflectivity, which is particularly important for outdoor usage (traditional LCD does not do well under bright sun).

Samson and Steve had the rehearsal today. Everything went well. The steak at Outback was pretty awesome.
Rallypoint is a web-based application that aims to quickly and accurately broadcast messages to a group of people in times of disasters, terrorist attacks or crisis.
Pixetell looks like another WebEx application but is far more visually pleasing, fast, interactive, and intuitive. One can try to communicate to other parties through elaboration on various digital formats such as spreadsheets, architectural drawings, and designs. The interface looks very intuitive at first glance and seems very easy to use. It only comes with personal voice messages.
Although Vokle seems like just another chat website but it really has a lot more to it. Vokle is visually pleasing and runs very smooth. It looks very easy to use as well. Vokle should be an amazing service for meetings and gamers. They are even considering to build a widget so that people can just plug it into their websites/blogs easily.
Cc:Betty is a really impressive web-based e-mail content parsing and classifying platform. What it does is that it sorts personal e-mails and breaks them down into different elements such as conversations, files, images, media, dates, and even places (with Google Map). All the contents are nicely separated by different categories on the platform. One can easily trace different kinds of information buried in e-mails that would be otherwise traditionally hard to search and sort out with.
CO2code is a company from Germany aiming to assist corporates in reducing CO2 emissions with the use of CO2 certificates (the certificate you buy testifies to how many trees grow for you and how much CO2 they absorb). The software can be used to print serial-code and use it on products to indicate how much CO2 rebalancing the product will be contributing in the end-consumer market. This is certainly another great step towards consumer awareness in environmental protection.
